5 Axis Machining is a style of precision CNC machining processing. Compared to the common three-axis (x, y, z three degrees of freedom) processing, five-axis machining refers to the processing of more complex geometric parts, the need for processing tools can be five degrees of freedom on the positioning and connection.
Five-axis machining is often used in complex machining for aerospace parts machining, body parts, turbine parts and impellers. In molto modern machine shop, we use five-axis machine to greatly improve the processing efficiency for complex parts without changing the position of the workpiece on the machine and processing the different sides of a product.
